Minecraft Central used to have an official TeamSpeak 3 server. The server could be accessed through the TeamSpeak 3 client using the address ts3.mccentral.org. It was used to voice chat with other players on the server and to host staff promotions and staff calls, such as the Admin call and the Mentor call.
History[]
The first version of the TeamSpeak 3 server was released on the 31st of October 2014. The address that was used to connect to the server was ts.mc-central.net and it could host 32 players. This version of the TS3 server was closed in around May or June of 2015.
A second version of the server was released on the 27th of December 2015 and a special staff sub-team was created to manage it. Every staff member could access the TS3 server until the 3rd of January 2016 when it was closed to all others than the members of the TeamSpeak Team. All staff could access it again starting on the 20th of January 2016 and it was opened to the public on the 26th of February 2016. It eventually got closed on the 22nd of September 2017, as MCCentral moved on to use the Discord Server in all of its communication.

Players could use the pre-defined channels of the TeamSpeak 3 server to chat through voice. There was also a small chat box for typing messages. There was an individual channel for every sub-server and there were also a few staff channels, such as the Staff Team channel, Admin Team channel and Build Team channel. Senior Moderators got their own special lounges since the 15th of August 2016. Support and Screensharing channels were added on the 21st of April 2017. The TS3 server received a revamp on the 3rd of May 2017 when the layout of the channels was changed a bit.

Every staff member got a special gem next to their name, indication their staff rank. At least the following ranks had a special gem:
- Owner, Administrator, Senior Moderator, Moderator, Helper
- Senior Builder, Builder
- Developer
